- A-HEM!
-
- There is a Bell company in California, which is changing the future of the
- set-top box before it is even avialable to consumers. And we all know,
- what Bell does in a major city(L.A.) is only a hint for what others will
- rush to imitate.
-
- How would you like?
-
- ISDN line, and Modem interface, which can auto-sense the difference
- between ananlog and digital signals, and switch between them .
-
- Have the ISP technician come to your home and configure the
- hardware/software to your computer. The tech does all the installing.
- Before he leaves you home, you will be online.
-
- And have a competitive ISP monthly rate which is not much higher than what
- is curretly available.
-
- This Bell company has a goal to have 98% coverage with ISDN, Which means,
- only the most remote homes willnot have ISDN option for service.
-
- Would you pay a little extra for this?
-
- Would you be suprised to know it is already happening?
-
- SHOULD THE SET TOP BOX BE EXPANDABLE FOR THIS NEW LEVEL OF SERVICE??
-
- i think it should.
